About me and my therapy practice

Hello my name is Deborah and welcome to my profile.

As an experienced BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I work in private practice in Lewes, East Sussex and on-line.

Relational work has always been my passion, and I now work exclusively with couples.

My integrative approach is committed to supporting couples to heal from painful and unresolved wounds of the past in order to flourish, individually and relationally, in the present.

The strong evidence base of attachment informed therapies has been a major influence on the trainings I have undertaken.

For me, the beauty of integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), is its power in supporting us to develop a self-regulating, wise and compassionate relationship with our own internal experience, in addition to a loving and co-regulating relationship with our partner.

EFT and IFIO are beautifully complementary in service of healing, connection and love.
