About me and my therapy practice

Hello,  I am a fully qualified practitioner in the UK and in the USA, and I bring over 25 years' extensive experience in the field of Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Mental Health - working with individuals in need.  I offer a professional and thoughtful approach to guide you through difficult emotions and experiences.

In addition to working in Private Practice, I have also held a number of Clinical Management positions, including Senior Director roles on a National and International scale.  With this level of experience, I am able to provide a confident and skilled approach to help you with reactions and symptoms, and to help you navigate unexpected events or life changes - leading to more effective ways of coping.

It is important for me to help you find the focus of your problem, so I can tailor the right type of assistance to support you towards next steps in your growth and personal development.  This can include short, medium, or long-term intervention.

I believe that therapy should provide you with both the insight into what is happening within you (gaining self-understanding), but also work closely with you to resolve the issues at hand, and improve your overall well-being.

I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy for a variety of problems, and I use a unique combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused, and Systemic therapies; all shown to help individuals move forward in times of difficulty.

I am skilled at providing a thorough assessment of your needs in order to offer you treatment that will be tailored to you as a unique individual, and that will take into account your unique situation.  My approach is collaborative and dynamic and solution-focused.
