About me and my therapy practice
My name is Susan Cameron and I run Chalybeate Counselling from a quiet room within a pretty and tranquil garden setting providing a safe and confidential environment.
As an integrative relational counsellor with a BA (Hons) degree in counselling, I use a range of counselling approaches to help individuals and couples with issues including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, anger and bereavement to help find positive ways forward.
I previously worked as a midwife and have specific experience with post natal depression and those suffering with the loss of a baby.
I welcome people from all walks of life, regardless of faith, background or problem.
I understand that life is complex and we’re all faced with different challenges and circumstances. If you’re not sure what support you would benefit from , that’s not a problem, we can work through it together to understand your needs.
Finding someone you’re comfortable talking to is key to counselling . I therefore offer a no-obligation, introductory counselling session at the start to give us the space to decide if we will work well together
