About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel as though you cannot control your thoughts? Are these thoughts affecting how you feel about yourself and others? At times do you feel exhausted and confused, not knowing what to do, or how to get rid of these overwhelming thoughts? Are these thoughts affecting your relationship?
These thoughts can feel as though they are controlling you, leading to experiencing sadness, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or low confidence, as well as negatively impacting on your relationship.
Being able to talk to someone about these thoughts and feelings can feel like a huge, and sometimes daunting, step. Taking this first step to find someone who accepts you, and your partner, within a non-judgemental environment, enabling you to express what is going on is the first step to exploring a way to finding a more calm and joyful life/relationship.
There may be many reasons for experiencing these thoughts and feelings, some of which you may not be aware of yet. By being with you, and listening to you, I can help you make your journey more bearable to find your own ways of managing these thoughts and your relationship.
Please call, text, or email me to arrange an initial 15-minute phone call, so we can discuss what you are looking for, and to see how we can work together. If you are then happy to work together, we can arrange our first session and agree the frequency of our sessions.
I am a fully qualified counsellor (MSc Counselling & Psychotherapy - Merit from Keele University) and am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) meaning that I work within their ethical framework.
I have a person-centred background, as well as other techniques, such as coaching and NLP, which I use depending upon the needs of the client. I work with clients upwards from age 18 years.
I currently offer face to face, and online, counselling in my own private and safe counselling room.

Thereafter, each session is up to 60 mins, at a rate of £50, and generally occurs on a weekly basis. The first session is an exploratory session to assess the issues and agree a way forward together.
