About me and my therapy practice
There will be times when we all experience emotional difficulties in our lives and where we will often look for support from our family and friends sometimes, however, this is not enough.
Hi and welcome. My name is Sal and I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and I respect and practice within its ethical framework. I offer confidential face to face counselling in a peaceful, comfortable and friendly environment.
I have substantial experience working with both male and female adults and young people. This includes working with a variety of issues from anxiety, depression and cultural issues through to relationship, anger management and work-related stress as well as clients/patients who come from a vulnerable background who are marginalised by society. this area of work has been a lifelong ambition for me.
I strive to build a therapeutic relationship so that my client’s feel comfortable to express and explore whatever their issues are and I offer a confidential and safe space in which to explore your experiences and issues offering a person-centred counselling service to give you the opportunity to make changes in your life. Feeling heard and understood is often the first step towards change. So, I invite you to take some time for yourself. Talking things through with a Counsellor can help you understand yourself better. It can help you find ways through difficulties and work towards lasting change.
