About me and my therapy practice

I have resumed working face to face at my comfortable counselling rooms at Radlett, St Albans and Watford and also offer online therapy.

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor/psychotherapist (person centred, CBT, psychodynamic) and member of the BACP. I have extensive experience of working with adults and young people.

I work at your pace in a non-judgemental, calm, empathic manner, allowing you the space to explore what brought you to therapy. My clients are always at the heart of the sessions.

My therapy style is interactive, non-judgmental and collaborative.

I can help you identify and give clarity to what is important for you to achieve. Together we can then explore the ways in which you feel able to fulfil your identified goals. I can guide you to build greater trust in yourself, improve your self-esteem, raise your self-awareness, and provide the motivation to take back control of your life. I bring a compassionate approach to dealing with trauma, attachment issues, as well as the impact of childhood or relationships abuse or bereavement.

In combination with my private practice and through my work with organisations including NHS, Trauma Recovery, Watford Women’s Centre, The Hope Programme, New Pathways, Beacon Victim Care, and a leading London Borough Secondary School, I have developed extensive experience of working with anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic and sexual abuse, relationship issues, disability as well as loss, bereavement, and difficult life events.

I am also qualified in pre-trial therapy and can offer a safe way to access therapy for victim and witnesses of crime leading up to, during and post-trial.

Please message me so that I can answer your questions and we can decide what you wish from counselling and if we will be able to achieve your goals together. I understand how daunting this may feel.

Practice description

I can offer both short and long-term therapy and I am fully insured and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate.

I offer a calm, safe environment where you can work through your feelings, explore, and process your emotions, talk freely and feel heard without judgement.

I have returned to working face to face and have rooms in Radlett, St Albans and Watford. I also offer remote sessions which are available online via Zoom, Google Meets etc. This way of working has proven to be accessible and convenient, however, telephone therapy is also available for those less comfortable with video sessions.

During COVID-19 I trained as an online counsellor, and I have been working with NHS staff and vulnerable adults.

My first session

I have returned to face to face sessions. Please contact me if you would like a free 15-minute online consultation to discuss what brings you to counselling, your expectations from it and to allow you to ask me any questions regarding how I can help you. We will complete a short assessment; at this stage I will not take a lot of personal details. If at the end of the consultation you decide that you wish to proceed, we will find a convenient day and time that is good for us both. Each further session lasts 50 minutes.  Flexible sessions are available for shift workers. Please contact me to arrange this no obligation call to discuss your needs and concerns.
