About me and my therapy practice

Hello! My name is Neroli. I'm thinking that as you are sat here reading this, that you are wanting support of some kind maybe for yourself, a loved one, a family member or a friend. I won't even attempt to guess why you might be considering coming to counselling, and you may or may not even know what that support looks like yet...

Sadly due to Covid-19, counsellors and their clients are having to adapt, to be flexible, to work harder, and in many different ways in order to enable counselling sessions to continue some how, some way. Please bear with me as I try to keep up with Government Guidelines and Advice. I write my website personally, so that always contains the most up to date information and changes.

*If you do enquire, and do not receive a reply to your enquiry: please check your junk or spam folders, my email reply might have gone in there. Or, please do text me as I always reply: even if to say I have no current availability. I will not ignore your enquiry, I appreciate what goes in to sending them*

In the meantime, Please Mind How you go? Keep safe.

Take care

P.S Just to let you know, and save you time: I do not offer couples or family counselling services.

Practice description

In 2020, I celebrated my Private Practice having been open for 6 years. On average I see 12-15 clients a week, 3-4 sessions a day. I limit how many clients I see, so that my clients get the best attention and service possible. I have been a registered member of the BACP since 2013, I have a Clinical Supervisor that I see every month, and I work within the BACP ethical framework for the counselling professions.

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma Counselling Psychology from Keele University (October 2014)

During my training and since qualifying I have worked with Place 2 Be, Embrace CVOC and The Dove Service, both as a sessional counsellor and I worked on a joint Tier 2 project facilitated by The Dove Service for Staffordshire County Council and CAMHS to provide one-to-one therapy sessions for children and young people aged 4 to 18 in schools and children’s centres.

Professionally Qualified Counsellors are required to continue their training and complete minimum hours of CPD (continuing professional development) per year, and this is audited too.

My first session

During your first session we would talk about what fetches you in to Counselling, and what you are hoping to gain from your time with me in sessions. I have a page on my website dedicated to explaining as much as I am able to do so about what your first session might look like:

I also have a FAQ page to try and help out with all those niggling practical worries:

I personally write and edit my website so all the information on there should be up to date, and should answer most of your queries. If there is anything else you might like to know, then please do contact me. I will do my very best to answer your query and put you at your ease.
