About me and my therapy practice
Hi. Welcome to my profile and thank you for visiting.
I provide one to one counselling at Elmwood Avenue, off the Lisburn Road, Belfast, opposite The City Hospital and near Queens University. I have some availablity on Fridays and Weekends. along with some evening availability as I'm conscious how difficult it can be to take time off work.
I feel I provide a safe, warm and confidential environment where clients are greeted in a a non-judgemental way, where they can explore and talk through any issues impacting on them and work towards regaining their normal functionality. I use a variety of approaches, techniques and tools, namely CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Mindfulness, Integrative and Person Centred therapy. I have counselled clients for many years and from all age groups and backgrounds, including their family and friends impacted by those issues
I also have a vast amount of experience working with young people and children and have worked with Childline and undertaken Child Protection training.
I offer an initial 20 minute free consultation to address the issues that have prompted the need for counselling and to explain the merits of CBT, Mindfulness and Personal Therapy. The Initial consultation will allow too the opportunity to meet without any obligation or commitment.
