About me and my therapy practice

I consider the past as a key to understand the present. I support individuals in facing a wide range of psychological issues through online weekly sessions.

WITH ADULTS:

When your ways of coping with challenges seem less effective than they used to, it's normal to feel powerless, stuck or overwhelmed.

In a non-judgemental environment, we will be able to draw connections and identify areas you may find difficult to manage.

I will help you find the strength within yourself to overcome obstacles that stand between you and your goals.

WITH YOUNG PEOPLE:

For a young person talking to adults in their life is not always possible or appropriate.

Therapy can be an opportunity to freely express issues and explore identity in a non-bias and confidential space. This can help develop new coping strategies to increase control and resilience.

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

I am a BACP registered Therapist, holding a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Degree in Psychology.

During the past ten years, I have been part of support services for adults and adolescents in London working with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction.

Alongside this, I have also assisted students in both mainstream and alternative provisions in working with anger, attachment trauma, behavioural issues, ADD, ADHD and SEN.

My first session

Once you get in contact, we will set a time for a free phone consultation. It's a 20 min informal chat about the reasons that brought you to therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any question about the way I work. You can then take some time to think or book a first session.

Your first session will last 50 min. We'll use the time to get to know each other and come up with a focus for our work together. You can ask questions about how I work and I might need to find out a bit more about your history, so that I have a clear picture of where you are at and where you want to be.
