I am currently offering face to face counselling at York. The counselling room enables 2m social distancing.
I offer online and telephone counselling both in the UK and internationally.
I have both daytime and evening appointments Monday to Friday.
About me and my therapy practice
I am qualified integrative counsellor. My therapy style is about offering warm, supportive and non - judgmental place for you to explore whatever is troubling you. I work interactively with the aim to supports you best to explore your feelings and emotions.
I am passionate about supporting you to find a way how to feel better again and live a life which is fulfilling. Counselling may not take your issues and life challenges away but it can give you ways of coping with them a lot better. It can allow you to move forward again with your life.
Counselling relationship is important part of counselling process. I believe that you need to feel heard and valued as you are. The counselling relationships is reviewed frequently during our counselling process. It can take time to build up the relationship, and sometimes you may find that I am not the right counsellor for you. It is okay.
I am integrative counsellor but use mainly person-centred way of counselling.
Person- centred way of counselling is for me as a counsellor to listen when you are ready to talk. There is no agenda. You choose what you want to talk about and what you would like to achieve by having counselling sessions.
My role is to support you with this and we will review the process together.
As an integrative counsellor, my counselling approach is adapted according to the needs of you as a client. This might include using creative arts, CBT and ACT as part of counselling process.
My first session
I offer 20 free phone session for you to find out what is counselling and if it could help you. You can learn about me a a counsellor and if you feel that you can talk openly and honestly with me. It’s important that you feel heard and valued as you are.
