About me and my therapy practice
I can see clients in L17.
I provide a safe and confidential environment of understanding and acceptance. I will work with you to explore what brings you to counselling and help bring insight into the way forward that's right for you.
I draw from a range of approaches (including person-centred, CBT and solution focussed therapy) in my work – tailored to fit you - to work together to help empower you to follow the pathways to your goals.
You can contact me via email, phone or text to arrange an initial appointment. This will give us the chance to meet and allows me to learn a bit about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve from sessions.
I generally start sessions by briefly sharing a bit of information about how I work, and then we can look together at a counselling contract; this sets out the expectations of both of us within our counselling relationship. During this session we will both get a better idea of whether we feel able to work together and what the focus will be. The initial session alone can be therapeutic and start the process of change.
Sessions are usually weekly and each lasts 50 minutes.
