About me and my therapy practice

I have been a counsellor for over 20 years and have experience, I have counselling experiences in a variety of settings, including the NHS as a sexual dysfunction counsellor, drugs and alcohol, and recently a lot of my work has been working with emergency services workers. My main areas of specialism are; trauma both work and personal, Couples Counselling and individual and family therapy, I also provide support for individuals and organisations around critical incident support after a traumatic incident.

Practice description

I work within the framework that supervision is a place for reflection and personal growth for both the supervisee and supervisor.

Our work will challenge the supervisees to reflect on their work with clients in terms of what's in the room that is acknowledged and therefore consciouse and probe into those areas that might be present at an unconscious level.

In the current climate working with supervisees to aid them in managing the challenges of working in a triangular  way in terms of private practise, placement and employed roles
