About me and my therapy practice
I have specialised in bereavement and loss for 10 years. These two areas of life inevitably touch all of us, in different ways, and our response can vary widely.
Anxiety and depression may often result from loss, one word which covers many experiences, for example; the death of a loved one or a miscarriage; infertility; a life event such as divorce or redundancy; the loss of health, whether a long term condition or a diagnosis of a life limiting illness like cancer. Or perhaps life is just not working out how you thought it would.
Sometimes one loss may trigger feelings relating to a previous unresolved loss and you find yourself unable to understand your emotions.
I can help you explore and make sense of how you are feeling, to find a path through this time of transition and adjustment.
My practice is in the centre of St Albans. Please do call or email if you are struggling with loss, bereavement or unexplained feelings of anxiety.
