About me and my therapy practice

Supervision, I believe is an essential and enriching part of being a psychotherapist or counsellor.  Its about a collaborative relationship, co-creating a safe and contained framework for growth and healing of the therapist. The essence of the work focusing openly and honestly on clinical material in the best interests of the client.

I believe supervision is an environment where we can be empowered to be the best practitioner and to explore any areas of success, concern or difficulty we have in our work. We can do this in the knowledge that the purpose of supervision is to assist your development, rather than to be judged.

I am experienced in both group and 1:1 supervision.

I offer specialised trauma supervision individually or in groups Have you or your colleagues thought of creating a group for supervision?

I have trained as an integrative relational supervisor and provide supervision for trainees and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists.   Please read my counsellor profile to know my other qualifications and experience.

Practice description

I have had a private practice in Winchester since 2008. I am an integrative humanistic counsellor/psychotherapist, which means I use my training in different approaches to suit my clients needs.

I am led by my clients needs and we co-create the best way to work with your issues

Being an Integrative therapist, means I work in the way which is most useful to you and your issues.

My first session

Initially I offer a brief free telephone conversation to understand an outline of your current concerns.

We will discuss suitable availability to meet for the initial consultation session and ongoing weekly sessions.

The initial consultation is chargeable at my usual rate.

During this session we talk at a deeper level about what is affecting you currently, your expectations from counselling, I will gather your personal and medical information at this time as well.
