About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP accredited integrative practitioner Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I adapt my approach to suit the needs of the individual client - because every person is unique. However, I believe that if you feel listened to, that I empathise with you and that you can trust me, you will feel more able to talk about your most private worries and concerns without fear of being judged. Exploring difficult thoughts, feelings and issues can help you to understand why you feel the way that you do and to work out, in a safe and supportive environment, what you can do to feel better.

About me and my therapy practice

As a supervisor my aim is to create a space where there is equality and mutuality and where you can reflect on your clients externally, internally and systemically. I am integrative in my theoretical approach and offer a supervisory practice whereby when you identify issues that you need help with, you will feel open to feedback and decide what feedback is helpful to you. Supervision works at its best when we are both open to learning and developing as practitioners, working safely and ethically, with due regard to the care of our clients and our own self-care.

I have experience of supervising trainee counsellors and more experienced therapists, both 1:1 and in a group setting. My practice room is warm and comfortable with very good transport links.
