About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP accredited integrative practitioner Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I adapt my approach to suit the needs of the individual client - because every person is unique. However, I believe that if you feel listened to, that I empathise with you and that you can trust me, you will feel more able to talk about your most private worries and concerns without fear of being judged. Exploring difficult thoughts, feelings and issues can help you to understand why you feel the way that you do and to work out, in a safe and supportive environment, what you can do to feel better.

About me and my therapy practice

As an experienced supervisor with an integrative practice, I aim to build a trusting supervisory relationship which enables you to identify issues that you need help with, where you feel open to feedback and decide yourself what feedback is helpful to you.   Supervision works at its best when we are both open to learning and developing as practitioners, working safely and ethically, with due regard to the care of your clients and your own self-care but also as a space where we can be curious and open to the clinical work. In our first session we will talk about what you need and how you'd like to work and we'll agree a contract together.

I currently offer supervision to qualified practitioners in person, over Zoom or phone. This usually on a fortnightly basis but can sometimes be monthly. How often we meet would be discussed and agreed between us and would depend on your caseload, what other supervision arrangements you have in place and your experience as a practitioner.
