About me and my therapy practice
I work with both adults and Teenagers, and I offer both face-to-face, online Zoom and telephone counselling. I work with individuals to support them to overcome a variety of concerns such as; bereavement, stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship difficulties.
I offer a confidential non-judgemental space in a safe calm environment where we can work together, at your own pace, to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to help you make sense of things and understand yourself better
I can help you explore what is important to you and what changes you may like to make. My work is tailored to meet the needs of my clients using my Integrative training whilst drawing on my CBT experience, and my Transactional analysis relational work both short term and long-term counselling.
It can be very dauting to reach out and seek counselling. It is sometimes hard to know where to start, especially if you have never been to a counsellor before.
Taking this journey with a counsellor you feel comfortable with is important. I therefore, offer a free 20 minute, no obligation, telephone conversation to determine if I am the right counsellor for you.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space where you can say how you really feel - and tell the situation as it really is.
Taking the first step in seeking help can be difficult. Most important is finding the right counsellor for you – someone you can relate to, who you feel comfortable and safe talking to, who you trust and that you feel is listening.
We can talk through any concerns or anxieties you may have regarding the counselling process..
My first session
On our first session we will get to know each other, building trust and discussing what your needs and expectations are.
I will take few details from you and explain cancellation and other information needed.
I am here to help and answer any questions and make your experience as pleasant as possible.
I understand that it takes a lot to take that first step, so I will do my best to create a safe and comfortable space for you to talk.
I offer short term (usually 6 weeks) as well as open-ended long term therapy to suit your individual need.
The relationship is key to a successful therapeutic outcome, so it is really important that you feel comfortable working with me and that I am able to support you in your journey. If you feel we might be a good match.
