About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist and psychologist (Master’s level) working with both individuals and couples. Regardless of what it is you are battling or working through, I personally believe that healing is a highly individual process. This is why I try to adapt my tools and approach to the person at hand - there is no “one size fits all”. Through my therapy practice, I aim to create a non judgmental and accepting space, where we can unpack your struggles and work towards meaningful change.
Being bi-cultural and raised in a very international environment, I also believe in adapting therapy techniques and approaches to an individual's culture and/or religion. This is also a big research interest of mine!
Practice description
As well as being a psychotherapist, I am also a qualified food coach. This is a process focusing purely on implementing cognitive strategies to help build a healthier, more mindful relationship with food. I would recommend this particular approach for anyone that struggles with emotional eating, yo-yo dieting and body image.
My first session
The first session (50min) is always about getting to know each other and outlining a direction for our work together. I normally ask clients to briefly speak about the story of their lives (background details, major milestones, major life changes) and the reasons they might have for starting therapy.

Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Men's issues, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues

The first session is a great opportunity to get to know each other and get an idea of what our work together would include. We normally discuss what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from the process and practical details regarding fees, session times, rules.
During the first 1-2 sessions, I normally also ask clients to briefly walk me through their life story (milestones, major life changes etc). This often sets important context for further exploration!

About me and my therapy practice
There are many things that affect how we feel and the way we are: our childhood environment, lifestyle, relationships, beliefs... I personally like to take a very holistic approach to healing and map out all these different layers that form who we are, exploring how the pieces tie in together.
My practice is strongly trauma-informed, meaning that I take into account the way physical, psychological or sexual trauma have likely shaped your nervous system and your current responses to the world around you. I help my clients understand these more biological bases of their symptoms and help work towards meaningful, in depth change.
Being bi-cultural and raised in a very international environment, I also believe in adapting therapy techniques and approaches to an individual's culture and/or religion. This is also a big research interest of mine!
Practice description
My practice is centred around:
- Educating clients about their nervous systems and how past trauma may be affecting certain triggers, responses or symptoms.
- Unpacking old narratives and exploring how they do or do not serve you in the present.
- Creative self-expression and elements of art therapy.
- Exploring additional ways to heal through lifestyle changes.
