About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced relational integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, meaning that I am able to draw on a range of approaches, to uniquely suit you and your needs. My approach is collaborative, warm and down to earth.
People come to therapy for all different reasons. You may want therapy to help with a current crisis point in your life, for example, or to deal with issues from your past or childhood, to look at relationship or family problems, or because you are experiencing depression or anxiety.
Sometimes there is no specific issue as such, but you want to use therapy to facilitate your personal growth. Whatever the reason, therapy can help.
I aim to offer a calm, confidential, safe and supportive space for you to bring whatever you need; a place where you can truly be yourself, with someone independent of your family and friends, without judgment.
As your therapist, I will fully listen to you and the difficulties you are having and help you to make sense and meaning of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. With greater clarity comes increased self-understanding, inner cohesion and conscious choice over our lives and relationships going forward.
In our time together, I will attend to the whole of you; your lived experience of the here and now and the wider context and history of your life.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that human beings have great capacity to heal, transform and grow, even in the face of the toughest and most adverse life experiences.
