About me and my therapy practice
Zoom/telephone sessions available. You might feel unbearable anxiety or feel isolated, depressed and stressed. A safe place to talk is a positive step to feeling better.
I understand life can be difficult. You might not be sure what happened but you don't know who you are anymore. You may be feeling hopeless and so alone and worried that you will never feel calm and happy. It might not be the things that have happened to you that have impacted your life, but the things that didn't happen to you that you might be grieving.
Are there patterns you want to break or boundaries you want to make in life and you need that extra support .
Feeling sad, life changes, losses, stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or unwelcome influences of fears, traumas, past experiences. It can be so overwhelming.
I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor with experience working with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, confidence problems, loneliness, life changes and transitions, loss, bereavement and trauma.
I will provide you with a warm, safe and confidential place where you can talk about yourself and your life. You will be able to think and talk things over in a way that you can’t with family and friends and I will listen to you without criticism or judgement. Thinking about counselling can be difficult and I will gently guide you through the process.
Many people find that improving their understanding and gaining better insight eventually puts them on the right path for overcoming their problems.

My first session
Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes and are held on the same day, at the same time, every week. Meeting at the same time each week provides a predictable and reliable framework in which you can work on your emotional difficulties. Most people find that the regularity creates security and trust, and this gives momentum to the therapeutic process.
At the end of your first appointment we will talk about whether counselling is the right step for you. A course of counselling typically needs at least 12 sessions. It is important that you feel comfortable talking about yourself with me and this may take a little time to establish.
