About me and my therapy practice

I AM CURRENTLY UNABLE TO SEE NEW CLIENTS

I'm Jeff, an experienced and accredited person-centred and integrative therapist based in a quiet, comfortable room in Liverpool city centre. I am friendly and down-to-earth. I offer brief or longer-term counselling.

I’m happy to speak by phone if you have any questions/worries before starting your counselling.

People come to see a counsellor for all sorts of different reasons and may feel nervous to begin with, not knowing what to expect. My aim is to help you feel as safe as possible. We go at your pace and talk about whatever you choose to.

I have experience of working with people from all walks of life with all sorts of issues and problems.

The counselling session is your space – a place for you to explore your feelings and what is happening in your life in a supportive, confidential, non-judgemental environment and to find the best way forward out of your difficulties.

As well as working with clients, I train counsellors at LJMU.

About me and my therapy practice

I AM CURRENTLY UNABLE TO SEE NEW SUPERVISEES

I am a qualified supervisor (and an accredited counsellor). I have considerable experience working with fellow practitioners and trainees. I work mainly from a humanistic perspective but have found that ideas from other models can be helpful so I try to tailor my approach to what the supervisee needs and finds valuable.

I currently teach on the MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Liverpool JMU.
