About me and my therapy practice
I believe finding and connecting with the right Counsellor/Psychotherapist is vital to the start of the process.
I am very passionate about my work, I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves they are capable of finding happiness and contentment in their lives. I have worked with Sands (stillbirth and neonatal death society) for many years facilitating meetings and supporting families through devastating and traumatic times. I always show compassion and understanding whatever the circumstances.
Engagement in therapy is essential, to help this I will provide a supportive and encouraging environment and we will work collaboratively. Using my Adlerian training in childhood memories we will explore and gather family information, this leads to a deeper understanding of oneself, which in turn can help find effective and appropriate tools to develop confidence and self-worth.
My therapy is client lead, we will work together at your pace. I can offer short and long term counselling depending on your counselling needs.
Please contact me if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to have an informal chat to start.
