About me and my therapy practice
Helping you deal with your difficulties confidently and assertively, so that you can feel joy and discover your true meaning in life, is what I see as my calling. I make sure that from the very first session you will feel free to say what you think and thus gain awareness of yourself and understand the challenges you struggle with, resolving them so that you can move closer to having the life you wish to have.
In a warm, non-judgmental, environment, I will work with you to discover the past perceptions that keep you stuck or undermine your present so that you can create your future, supporting yourself and your life transition.
During my current Doctoral studies in Counselling Psychology (Final Year at the moment) and training, I have gained significant experience in a diversity of fields, requiring the support of a counsellor. I have been working as a trainee counselling psychologist in the NHS and several charities.
I apply various psychological approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Life Coaching Techniques that enable you to be in charge of your own happiness. I focus on helping you discover patterns to gain awareness and stand on your own feet, drawing from your internal resources, abilities, skills, and talents. In my sessions, I will empower you to realise your full potential and overcome psychological distress, treating your case in a unique and personalised way.
From my volunteering and studies, I have gained significant experience in working with people who struggle with stress, anxiety, panic, relationship issues as well as depression and can work both in a time-limited or long-term way, depending on your wishes and needs.
