About me and my therapy practice
Do you sometimes feel that there is nobody who can take the time to listen to you so that you can feel truly heard? Does it feel as though life moves along happily for everyone else but just doesn’t somehow feel right for you. It can be a truly lonely feeling. There may be so many reasons why you might be feeling this way but my aim as a qualified person-centred counsellor is to offer you a safe and secure space where I will listen open heartedly and without judgement to whatever you choose to bring so that we can work together towards finding a greater understanding of what is going on for you. My training also allows me to work with art materials which can be a powerful way of connecting with our emotions if you feel that could be of help to you.
I have worked with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties in primary and secondary schools and also those in care. I've also worked with adults with a variety of issues including Bereavement, Bi-polar disorder, Cancer, Child related issues, Depression, Identity problems, Relationships, Stress and lack of Self Esteem.
I cover mostly long term work either face-to-face or through telephone counselling, online teleconferencing, email and instant messaging. When choosing a therapist, I understand the importance of finding someone you feel comfortable with so please feel free to contact me to find out if I could be the right person for you.
