About me and my therapy practice

Hi, you’ll know what you’re looking for, so I’ll keep this short.

You’re an adult and I believe in empowerment. If we work together, you get to see all your notes. I don’t keep them a secret.

You’ll notice I’m very affordable. That’s because I have just relocated from Malaysia to the UK. As many of my clients live in South East Asia where wages are considerably lower than in the West, you get a nice deal.

I specialise in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, or healing from toxic and abusive families and relationships.  I also work with entrepreneurs who typically have extremely stressful work lives.

I’m sensible, practical and have a private practice with clients based in 20+ countries. I work online exclusively, over video or voice via WhatsApp, Meet, Skype, Telegram, Line, and Messenger. I don’t work on Zoom as it’s not private–Zoom scrape conversations.

I am also private. Many of my clients are invested in keeping their mental health work secret. So if you’re in public life or are an LGBTQ Muslim or atheist living in places where that is illegal, please know that nobody will know you’re talking to me.

I do all my own paperwork and I make my own appointments.

I love to work! However, as mental health is a huge field, and a lot is more art than science, it’s important that we connect. Also, with us working online, we need to make sure we can hear and see each other clearly.

Therefore, our first chat is 15 to 20 minutes, and it is free. If we can work together, you book sessions.

If you are hesitant about reaching out, you’re not alone. As the first step risk free, reach out today and send me an email.

Practice description

I am an eclectic practitioner, which means I use various therapy techniques. My favourites include individual therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy.

When we talk, I'll suggest a strategy that I think will suit you best. When there are choices of approaches, I will explain the pros and cons of each, and how they work, and you choose which you want to use.

Coaching or Therapy?

Psychotherapy focusses on healing. Therapists are trained to recognise and treat emotional and mental health issues. Coaching does not involve healing. Coaches are motivators and accountability partners that help you reach very specific goals.

My coaching focuses solely on creative, academic, and business writing.

My first session

The first chat is free. Once you drop me an email, we'll have a very brief conversation to make sure that the technology works for us and that we can work together.

We also discuss confidentiality, what happens in emergencies, and more.

The free chat lasts about 15-20 minutes. If we click, we schedule sessions.
