About me and my therapy practice
Qualified and registered with the BACP, my theoretical approaches include Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Intercultural, Transcultural, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Existential therapy. I will always work within your frame of reference, engaging collaboratively at a pace that works for you.
I provide counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. The aim is to create a supportive space enabling an exploration and understanding of your personal issues. Working with cultural, religious or sexual minorities has been central to my development as a counsellor.
I have worked extensively on issues of trauma, depression, relationships, sexuality, sexual abuse, sexual health, chem sex, harm reduction, trauma, race, culture, bereavement, and asylum seekers among other issues. I am to empowering individuals through creative and innovative mechanisms designed to work on issues of self-esteem and acceptance, as a means of improving your well-being and quality of life.
