About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified and registered Psychotherapist /Arts Psychotherapist working in both London and Cambridgeshire. I work with adults on a one to one basis, both short and long term and offer a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration and understanding of the issues brought to the therapeutic relationship.

I am aware that for human beings there is a shared need for connection and I consider the relational aspect of therapy important to the work towards bringing meaning and understanding to a life shaped by nature, nurture and the environment.

You carry your own unique story, that which shapes your way of being in the world. You may presently be facing life challenges, difficult to discuss and complex to unravel. You may wish to get to know the different aspects of yourself more closely and completely.

Whatever brings you to therapy, as an integrative psychotherapist I draw on a range of theories and techniques to assist in our work, as well as holding a rich tool kit of arts based interventions.

Use of the arts, including art, music, dreams, movement and metaphor often allows the emergence of deep insight and provides a voice when words cannot be found. If you choose to use the arts no creative experience is necessary.

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues including relationship/family issues, work related issues, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, depression, anxiety and loss. I have worked in the NHS and currently I work in the charitable sector and in private practice.

I have an interest and work inclusively with ethnic and cultural difference, age, genders, and sexual orientation.

I am a mindfulness practitioner and I incorporate mindfulness techniques into my therapy work.
