Sometimes life brings challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope. Talking to a qualified counsellor, who adheres to the ethical principles of confidentiality and can offer a safe and non-judgmental environment, can help make your problems more manageable.

Some common problems that people have found counselling can help with include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, problems at work, trauma, addiction, sexuality, feelings of loneliness and isolation, lack of confidence, low self-esteem issues among other things.

I offer a professional, caring and confidential counselling service based in West Norfolk and I am a registered and accredited member and work with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework for Good Practice – www.bacp.com

My mission statement

"I am a firm believer in the human spirit and people’s ability to overcome even the most tragic of circumstances. As a counsellor, I am honoured to be able to offer individuals a non-judgemental place of trust where any emotions can be shared in confidence and explored at their own pace".

Practice description

I offer a professional, caring and confidential counselling service based in West Norfolk and I am a registered and accredited member and work with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework for Good Practice – www.bacp.com

My first session

Extensive research shows that it is the relationship between counsellor/psychotherapist that heals.  It is important to me to ensure the clients feel that they can work with me.

I make a point of contacting clients for an initial chat, preferably on skype or face time to make the initial contact and introduce myself.  Clients then have an opportunity to decide whether they wish to engage in the therapeutic work with me.

The counsellor/psychotherapist relationship is very important and can be life changing for the client.

I care a great deal for the well being of my clients.  I adhere to BACP's ethical frame work on safe guarding and confidentiality.

I love and respect my profession and focus on my on going personal development.

To me it is an honour to be able to offer a safe space of trust where individuals can explore their conflicts and develop healthy coping strategies to live more fulfilling lives and build stronger relationships.
