About me and my therapy practice
I am a Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience supporting both adults and young people with their mental health, using evidence-based methods to reduce distress and promote wellbeing.
I have worked in a variety of settings in the NHS, charitable and private sectors, supporting people living with challenges around physical health, sleep, and body image, as well as bereavement and loss. Other areas of expertise include working with stress, low mood, self-criticism, and anxiety related to health, identity, sense of purpose, social situations, and chronic worrying.
I provide a safe and supportive space in which you can speak freely. I am flexible in my approach and draw on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies to ensure that each session is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. I incorporate ideas from Person-Centred and Existential Therapy, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused and other Systemic approaches.
Availability: Sessions are currently taking place virtually. There are also a limited number of low fee places available for those in need. For further information, please contact email@example.com
