About me and my therapy practice
I hold a Masters degree in INTEGRATIVE counselling and postgraduate diplomas in Neurodiversity and Narrative therapy.
If you feel like a square peg in a round hole - I might be able to help.
Squarepegness often is accompanied by or is masked by depression, anxiety, emotional rigidness.
It can lead to work and relationship problems
Exploring, recognising and slowly putting into practice what has been uncovered can be enough to move a client from being overloaded leading to meltdown or lack of headspace to an awareness that modifies your feeling of well being.
Practice description
I was diagnosed with high functioning autism at the age of 55. Ten years on, I have obtained two post-graduate qualifications in autism and recently completed an MSc in counselling.
My counselling is drawn from the psychodynamic, humanistic and relational modalities to support you in being confident in your neurodiversity in a neurotypical world. My non-judgemental and confidential process, in a safe space, seeks to scaffold you preferencing a psycho-educational system embracing an understanding of “double empathy” and some solution-focused concepts.
