About me and my therapy practice

I have worked alongside people suffering from anxiety and depression since 1996 and have been a psychodynamic counselling practitioner since 2005 which has increased my understanding regarding those who suffer severe anxiety and chronic depression. During these years I have worked primarily within the NHS Primary Care Trust and MIND mental health charity. Being a psychodynamic counsellor equips me to address the immediate issue and it's possible connections to previous distressing events.

Practice description

Home Counties Counselling is a small practice currently providing Zoom and Telephone contact due to Covid-19 restrictions.

We have a consulting room on the top floor of a building with no lift so sadly we are not able to assist with mobility issues currently for face to face sessions but we are still able to work via Zoom or Telephone appointments.

My first session

Initial consultation or assessment typically lasts 50 mins to an hour and costs £15. Future sessions will be negotiated.
