About me and my therapy practice

Are you often feeling on edge, anxious, overwhelmed or perhaps angry? Does your mind sometimes race, disrupting your sleep or ability to get things done? Or are you having flashbacks of traumatic moments or impossible choices and worrying that some circumstance or events in your life have harmed or are harming your mental health?

If so, you are not alone and feeling better IS possible.

Counselling facilitates lifelong changes in perceptions, mental processes and neuropathways, essential for meaningful and sustained improvements to psychological wellbeing. Taking medication can help in the short term and this can be essential and sometimes enough. But it's only part of the neurobiology of happiness and positive mental health. Human beings are immensely resilient and though you may not feel it's possible just now, you too can harness this and heal, grow and thrive.

I'm an experienced counsellor, providing flexible and effective therapy for adults. I have extensive experience of working with men, women, LGBTQIA+ people and people of different cultural backgrounds. I specialise in counselling for generalised and social anxiety, PTSD, domestic and sexual abuse, burnout and depression. My theoretical approach is integrative, with an emphasis on existential psychology.

So whatever it is that you're struggling with right now, please do get in touch to arrange a consultation to see if I may be a good fit for you. All the very best, Victoria

Practice description

My face to face practice is from my comfortable and private counselling room in Chislehurst (session rate £65). Online sessions are available UK-wide via Zoom (session rate £60).

Please note: I am currently offering a discount for individuals working for the emergency services or the NHS experiencing pandemic/work related trauma and burnout, so please ask about this when enquiring.

I also offer a limited number of couples counselling places for couples wanting to improve and heal their relationships. Please visit my website for more information.
