About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred therapist. I believe that authenticity should be at the heart of everything we do. I try to help clients achieve a developing sense of self-worth and greater power over their own lives. My aim is to assist clients in developing and consolidating ways of tackling life's challenges, so that you can find your own meaning and direction. We work together on understanding problems in living and overcoming adversity. I have worked with clients experiencing a diverse range of life issues including loss and grief, post-traumatic stress, childhood abuse and adversity, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationships and autism.
I have a counselling room in my home for face to face counselling. During the Coronavirus 'lock-down' period I have not been able to offer this service but I have been offering telephone and online psychotherapy and coaching.
I hope to be able to offer face to face counselling and coaching from my home address again in the near future, as soon as it is assessed as safe to do so.
