About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (MBACP) and I am currently undertaking a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.  I work alongside adolescents and adults, with a wide range of mental health concerns and worries. My work includes helping people with life transitions, from changes in circumstances and relationships, to transitioning gender.

I support people who struggle with issues related to their sexual and gender identity. No matter how you identify, you and your struggles are welcome in my practice.

In my work with gender diverse clients I position myself as an ally. Sexual and gender diversity is not in itself a reason to seek therapy; you are not 'unwell' if you identify other than heterosexual or cisgender. I am a cisgender woman and my pronouns are she/her.

I would describe myself as open, respectful, kind, compassionate, non-judgemental.
