About me and my therapy practice
I am able to offer sessions online, please contact me to discuss.
I am a qualified Integrative psychotherapist registered with the BACP. I work with adults and young people, with couples and groups. I provide a warm, welcoming and safe environment for you to explore your inner thoughts and work through what may be going on for you in a confidential, non-judgemental space. I work in an integrative way, so that your therapy meets your individual needs, encompassing Psychodynamic theory, CBT and Transactional Analysis ideas into the core values of the Person Centred Approach.
My particular area of expertise is working with those affected by sexual violence, both current and past experiences, domestic abuse and experience of working with individuals considered to have a learning disability.
My private practice in Bricket Wood, with off street parking available, offers a quiet space for us to work through your difficulties and discover a way forward that works for you.
My first session
Our first session after consultation would involve a discussion about your life to now and the issues you would like to focus on. We will outline some goals together and set a time for a review of our work, or when our work will end.
This is often a time when difficulties from your past begin to surface as you highlight your experiences through discussion, so it is important that the environment I offer which aims to be a holding non judgemental space where you can feel safe, supports you in your exploration.
