About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Caroline Ellison and I am a counsellor in Fleet, Hampshire which is on the borders of Hampshire and Surrey. I will support your mental health with kindness, compassion, empathy and understanding.
Are you struggling with anxiety, stress, overwhelm, bereavement, grief and loss, depression and low mood, trauma, family difficulties, building confidence and self-esteem, long term and life limiting illness, are a carer or generally just don’t feel good about yourself?
Whether you are looking to cope with a specific mental health issue, better manage unpleasant emotions or simply want to feel better about yourself, counselling can help.
What is Counselling?
Counselling provides an opportunity for you to talk about your concerns in a confidential and safe environment. My goal as an integrative therapist is to help you develop a deeper understanding of what is happening and to support you in finding ways to manage your emotions, anxieties, relationships, trauma, anger, grief and any other concerns you bring to therapy.
Talking with a counsellor offers a cocoon, a space to vent, a sounding board, a space where it is safe to honestly sit with your emotions, cry, shout, talk, whatever you need. I will sit with you, listen and offer you a mental ‘first aid kit’ to support you. You are not alone I am here for you.
Remember your feelings do not own you, you own your feelings! Find a way to be OK with how you feel and understand why you feel the way you do, when you do.
I have a special interest in counselling for carers, patients and family members of long term and life limiting illness such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Cancer.
I offer face-to-face and online counselling from my counselling cabin in Fleet, Hampshire. I work with adults and carers to support and improve their mental health and emotional well-being, aiming to restore balance in life.

My first session
I offer an initial counselling session which is 1 hour and can be face to face or Online via Zoom.
What is an Initial Session?
Your initial session is your first counselling session where we meet either online through Zoom or face-to-face. This initial session will include some administration outlining how we will work together, discussion on frequency of sessions, length of therapy and possible referrals to other professionals. It will also be your first counselling session as the initial session is 1 hour and will be the start of clarifying your needs and identifying the best way forward.
At the end of the initial session you have the autonomy to book your next session if you feel I am the right counsellor for you.
How do I book a session?
You can book an appointment by contacting Caroline through the Contact page or calling 07818 798597 or at the end of your counselling session. Once your appointment is booked you will receive an email confirmation. You can change or cancel your appointment via email or telephone however, please give 24 hours notice of any changes or cancellations*. Please note, you will be invoiced at time of booking and payment is due before the appointment**.
