About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Kim, I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical Framework.

I appreciate that life can be tough, no matter your age, during challenging times it is important to remember that you do not need to tackle them alone. As a person-centred counsellor I will listen, whilst working alongside you in an empathic, confidential and non-judgemental way. Providing you with a safe space to find the answers that already lie within you. Whether it is help to identify and change ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour or the opportunity to off load your concerns and experience reprieve from those worries. 

Practice description

Working with a Person-Centred Approach you will be given my full, professional commitment, whilst we work at a pace that suits you, starting wherever feels right for you.

Along with working with Adults in private practice I volunteer at the charity Mind and also work with children and young people providing therapeutic interventions.

• I am Fully Insured Counsellor adhering to British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) standards

• In line with BACP requirements, I participate in continuous professional development, regular supervision & reflective practice.

• Parking is available that is close to my consultation room in Rainham, Medway.

I offer both long and short-term counselling, either face to face, Walk and Talk, online via zoom or over the telephone.

My current fees are:

Adults - £40 per 50 minute session

Children - £30 per 50 minute session

My first session

Finding the right counsellor can feel quite daunting, it is important that you feel safe to openly share your thoughts and feelings. 

I offer a free  20-minute telephone consultation, this will give you the opportunity to ask any questions and for you to share what has brought you to seek counselling. In this time we can find out if we can work together.
