About me and my therapy practice
Hi I’m Andrea, I am integrative counsellor, which means I work using a range of therapeutic approaches adapted to meet my clients needs.
Whether you are returning to counselling or it is your first time, it can feel daunting. I offer a caring, compassionate, non judgemental space where we will move at your pace and you will be given full autonomy.
Life comes with it’s highs and lows and the lows can become more challenging or even overwhelming and you may find yourself struggling to make sense of it all. Those challenges can come in many forms, maybe you have experienced a past or recent trauma, are having relationship issues, feeling more anxious than you are comfortable with or are struggling with a change in your life. I aim to provide an environment where you can freely and comfortably talk about these challenges. Within our time together I would look to support you as we explore your concerns and you become more informed about your feelings and how they are affecting you on an everyday basis. Together we can facilitate the changes you would like to make in your life, to give you a sense of well-being and balance.
My first session
I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is vital to the effectiveness of therapy and offer a free 20 minute phone or video call so that you can meet me before deciding if you would like us to work together.
I offer a 10 percent discount to NHS workers. I also provide a limited number of discounted rate sessions for those in receipt of income support, please contact me for details and availability.
