About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative child psychotherapist with a background in journalism and humanitarian work. I support young people and their families facing a range of mental health challenges and special needs.
Talking about "feelings" can be daunting for children, so I work collaboratively and creatively with young people and their families, using a variety of tools and techniques, including play, sand-tray, art, mindfulness and movement to encourage and support children to think about what might be troubling them.
Using a range of evidence-based therapies and drawing on research in Neuroscience and Attachment, my practice focuses on helping children build a more secure, resilient sense of self, so that they can have a better relationship both with themselves and others as they grow.
