About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I am a Counsellor trained from a Diploma in Counselling to an MSc in Psychology. I currently work within the NHS, offering both assessment and evidence-based low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and also delivering group Person Centered therapy for enduring mental health problems for an NHS research study. In my private counselling I also use other modalities including Focusing Oriented Therapy, Solution Focused and Mindfulness. I work closely with my clients to compassionately address issues important to them, such as: identifying worries, understanding emotions, relationships, and problems. In turn, I find that clients are able to better deal with situations.

I have worked with a variety of individuals from various cultures, and religious beliefs. I have helped people to explore their self-worth, security and significance in life. I offer sessions in 3 formats: face to face, through Zoom (an online video platform similar to Skype), and ‘walk & talk’ where counselling is done in the outdoors.

I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space for my clients, so that they can feel safe to open up.

What I can help with

Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Health related issues, Life coaching, Loss, Relationships, Self esteem, Spirituality, Stress, Women's issues, Work related issues

Clients I work with

Adults, Young people

How I deliver therapy

Long-term face-to-face work, Online counselling, Short-term face-to-face work, Time-limited
