About me and my therapy practice
Counselling might feel like a step into the unknown, but I will support you to find your way. Contact me today to take that step in my warm and professional online sessions.
People decide to start counselling for all kinds of reasons, and at different points in their lives. It is so beneficial to talk to someone outside of your friends and family, who will understand and can support you without any judgements.
Perhaps you are experiencing anxiety, fear or stress that is taking over your life. You would like some support to free yourself from negativity, feel less stressed, or take back control.
Maybe you struggle to be yourself with other people? You might want help to be more comfortable in your own skin, to stop putting yourself down, or to make some tough decisions.
It could be you are feeling low a lot of the time, and you would like to find out how to let go of the past, make changes and start living again.
I can help
Practice description
I offer integrative counselling, based in a person-centred approach. This means that my practice is all about seeing you as an individual who has their own unique experiences, and tailoring our work to what you need.
I will work with you to explore what has happened for you, and what you need. You will find me to be compassionate and non-judgemental, as these values are absolutely integral to my practice.
I help people experiencing a variety of challenges, including Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, and Gender, Sexuality and Relationship issues.
I love working online because my clients feel safe and comfortable at home. I also provide telephone sessions, if you’d prefer this option.
Additional practices:
- Working with the Body in Mind: I can help with anxiety and trauma by employing somatic techniques, including breathwork and grounding. These can help to centre you and reduce the physical effects created by instability in the nervous system.
My first session
Contact me today to arrange a phone call where you can let me know what you would like to get out of counselling, and we can discuss what is happening for you.
If it feels right for you, we can arrange to book in our sessions from there.
