About me and my therapy practice
My approach to counselling is both supportive and rational, combining the warmth of a trusting relationship, with the professional knowledge and experience of a qualified counsellor. I work in a positive and non judgemental way with individuals seeking brief or longer term counselling.
My specialist approach to helping pays particular attention to confidentiality, privacy and personal dignity and is successful in helping people through some of their darkest and most difficult times.
Although our work together will not be able to change events that have already happened, counselling will help manage the personal distress caused by difficult events , build self esteem and help in finding a new perspective.
The length and frequency of counselling sessions will vary according to individual need. Some people will need only a few counselling sessions whilst others will need counselling for a longer time.
