About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm a BACP Accredited counsellor working with adults, children and young people.

If you or your child is currently struggling, I understand how worrying it can feel and also the benefits reaching out to speak to someone can bring. We live in challenging times and sometimes having a regular space where you can focus on you, restores hope and renews strength to cope with difficulties.

Practice description

There's many different reasons why people of all ages use counselling, some of which include: Easing feelings of loneliness or grief, working through a loss or difficulty, to improve self-esteem, or to find ways of coping during periods of depression, anxiety and stress etc. Whatever your needs, speaking with a counsellor gives regular time to focus on yourself in a safe and non-judgmental space, where it’s ok to not feel ok and have help in normalising feelings and restoring balance.

My background training in Reiki, reflexology and aromatherapy, means I work with a 'holistic' focus and offer techniques in grounding and safety for you to use at home. I mainly help young people and adults process relationship or family difficulties, adverse childhood experiences, trauma, bereavement and loss, separation and divorce, loneliness, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and over-thinking and OCD. If you feel I may be able to help, please get in touch.

My first session

I offer an initial free chat on the phone to see how it feels to talk to me and ask any questions. At our first meeting either online or face to face, I focus on yours or your child's counselling goals and needs from therapy. I have availability on Thursday and Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings face to face as well as online throughout the week. Please get in touch if you think a chat might help, I look forward to hearing from you and reply to messages promptly.
