About me and my therapy practice
My approach to mental health is that it needs to be tailored to each individual. I work by listening to what has been going on in your life and what you're wanting to improve for yourself; we then work together to find the best approach for you and your needs.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to bring whatever you need to into the room. I work both face-to-face and over Zoom using an integrative approach gained from my background in the Person-centred approach, transactional analysis, CBT, Psychodynamic and narrative therapy to tailor an approach that feels right for you.
I am an extremely open-minded therapist and have worked with a large variety of issues. I hope with me you will find a space to speak freely in a non-judgmental environment, to feel heard and to feel able to move forward together in your mental health journey.
I believe therapy can not be looked at through a 'one size fits all' lens. I specialise in self-esteem work, anxieties and depression and believe that often by looking back into our upbringing and our life experiences, can we gain a better understanding of where we are today.
My first session
I offer a free consultation over the phone where you can discuss what it is you are wanting to bring and what you're hoping to gain from counselling. You will also get the opportunity to get to know me a little and together we can work out if we will be a good therapeutic match.
