About me and my therapy practice
Our relationships with ourselves and others have never been under as much pressure as they are at the present time. The stresses and strains of working, living and loving through a pandemic can really take their toll. This can lead to feelings of isolation, loneliness, sadness, anxiety and depression. The opportunity to share these feelings can lead to restoring our self worth and confidence.
In my person centred practice I use transaction analysis and solution focused methods. Every person has individual needs and I accompany them on their journey to discover their best way forward.
As a councillor of thirty years experience offering a divorce and separation recovery programme promoting personal development and growth has been a popular aspect of my work with individuals and couples.
My first session
In a first session together I feel it is important for the client to feel heard and listened to. Establishing a confidential trusting relationship will lead to a good working practice.
