About me and my therapy practice

My consulting room is located in Notting Hill. The nearest tube stations are Notting Hill Gate and Ladbroke Grove, about a 7 minute walk to my consulting room.

My approach is psychodynamic. I have worked in the NHS as a counsellor in GP surgeries for many years and now in private practice.

I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement, relationships, sexuality, addictions, work related issues.

Initially it is helpful to contact me by email. We can then speak briefly on the phone to arrange an appointment if the enquirer would like to do that.

I begin by offering an appointment for an initial consultation to discuss the difficulties presented and to see if we both feel we could work together. I usually offer long term therapy once or twice per week. However sometimes it can be helpful to meet initially for a few sessions and see how it goes.

Usually I work face to face, but also online or telephone if needed. Sessions last for 50 minutes.
