About me and my therapy practice
I offer 50-minute creative arts counselling sessions with children and young people aged 3 – 18 years old. Arts mediums include drama, art, mask work, music, poetry, storytelling, bodywork, puppetry, sandtray, voicework, and clay amongst others.
Using the arts can offer up much more profound and powerful alternatives of communicating than just words alone, and I work with each child / young person by recognising their specific needs and capabilities, providing a wide range of creative arts options in order to support, explore and encourage their best means of self-expression and self-discovery.
I also offer creative arts sessions working with a parent and child together to help explore and heal any challenges or difficulties in the relationship or through circumstances such as divorce, separation, bereavement, changes in the family set up and other areas where repair or a strengthening of connection may be sought.
I am fully insured, First Aid trained and registered with the DBS update service. An accessible therapy space can be provided with prior notice.
