I am a fully qualified and accredited person-centred counsellor. My work is based on this approach since it accords best with my own experiences and outlook on life. I offer a safe, confidential and extremely agreeable environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I try at all times to listen to you and to try to understand what you are saying in a non-judgemental atmosphere of acceptance. Our time together is based upon the belief that we all have the capacity to grow and change, to gain insight and understanding and to move forward in our lives. I firmly believe in creating fertile ground for you to work out what is best for you. Your first contact with me should be a telephone call which will give us a chance to see if we feel comfortable enough to engage in a counselling relationship. I work in a shepherd’s hut with a wood-burning stove set in a stunning garden in a village on the Nottinghamsire/Derbyshire/Leicestershire boundary, a couple of minutes from Junction 24 of the M1. There is off road parking.
