About me and my therapy practice

I have current availability for face-to-face and remote counselling  by either video call or telephone.  I work with young people (12+), adult and couples.

I offer approachable, professional support to help you through times that may be proving difficult. We will build a trusting professional relationship from which you can safely explore your experiences, emotions and relationships, enabling you to work safely and positively towards your goals, whatever they may be.

I work comfortably with addiction, anxiety, bereavement and trauma, as well as many other difficulties.  Throughout your journey I will be alongside you, offering professional support to explore your thoughts and emotions, and helping you to achieve your aims in a place you can truly be yourself.

I am more than happy to talk through what I offer and you are welcome to ask any questions you may have.

"Equanimity: Emotional calmness, balance and composure"

You can find out a little more by visiting my website www.equanimitycounselling.org, or by getting in touch via my contact details on this page.

I look forward to hearing from you and wish you well with your journey.

Practice description

I work from my private practice in Chalfont St Giles, South Bucks.  I offer flexible day time and evening appointments, subject to availability.

I have experience working with adults and young people (12yrs+), and couples. I have a particular interest in family relationships (past and present), addictions, low mood and anxiety. We will work together, at your pace, and I will ensure your well being at all times.

I offer a free telephone call so we can 'meet' prior to committing to an appointment. Individual appointments usually last 1 hour and are charged at £50. Couple appointments usually last 1.5 hours and are charged at £80 (hourly appointments available, upon discussion).

I offer a limited number of reduced fee appointments, and welcome you to ask about this.

My first session

During your first session we  will go through my working agreement, including GDPR statement and I will happily discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

Following this, we can commence the session in whatever way you feel comfortable.  For some this is giving a general overview of their current situation, for others is to describe the here and now.  I will support you where and how to start if you need.
