About me and my therapy practice
My name is Lisa. I am a professionally trained Integrative Therapist. I work in private practice and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I work with adults on a one to one counselling basis in a relaxed, peaceful rural environment.
I became a therapist through being a client myself and experiencing first-hand the positive impact therapy and the therapeutic relationship can have.
It is with this in mind that the foundation of my work is in seeking to create an empathic and non-judgemental relationship with my clients. It is through this co-created relationship that significant positive change can occur.
As an Integrative therapist I use a number of different approaches (detailed below in the Further Information section). I aim to create a safe and supportive space allowing you to talk openly about what it is that may be troubling you. I offer a place for you to feel listened to and acknowledged.
In the past I have watched clients lives become easier and less emotionally burdened, giving a sense of freedom and acceptance. Opening up new possibilities and potential.
