About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, currently working in East London at HQ Therapy Rooms in Dalston. I am also able to offer secure online video sessions via Zoom and Skype.
It is not unusual to reach a point of feeling unhappy, stuck in old patterns or confused. Whatever might be the reason you wish to seek counselling or psychotherapy, seeking support and reaching out can be hard, yet incredibly rewarding. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between a client and a therapist is of great importance. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental, safe and fully confidential space in which we can explore your experience in the world and the issues that may be troubling you.
My work is informed by existential, psychoanalytic and humanistic theory and I have a specific interest in body-mind connection and mindfulness. What this means in practice is that I focus on the needs of each individual in a unique way. I am passionate about helping you gain greater self-awareness and understanding through which you can live life in a more authentic, comfortable and fulfilling way.
I have several years of experience working therapeutically within the mental health sector, with a background in social care and youth work.
Alongside private practice, I work as a counsellor at an LGBTQ+ mental health charity and at King’s College London.
